IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  1. Coronavirus (Covid-19)

    Our policies will ONLY provide cover for Coronavirus (Covid-19) in the following sections:
    Section A – Cancellation or curtailment charges
    Section B – Emergency medical expenses & repatriation
    Section K – Attraction, events & excursion tickets (PremierPlus policies only)

    For full details of cover, please refer to the policy wording.

    Please be aware that the coverage provided under Section A and Section K applies if it is necessary and unavoidable to cancel your planned trip because an insured person named on the policy either:

    1. tests positive for Coronavirus (Covid-19) and it is within 14 days of your trip departure date, or
    2. is admitted to hospital due to testing positive for Coronavirus (Covid-19) after the purchase of the policy.

    In addition, Section K will also provide cover if you cannot attend an event because you have tested positive for Coronavirus (Covid-19) during your trip.

    There is no cover for any claims directly or indirectly related to a pandemic and/or epidemic (including the fear or threat of such), including but not limited to Coronavirus (Covid-19) on ALL other sections of cover.

  2. Travel against FCDO advice

    Our policies do NOT cover travel to a country or specific area or event to which the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) has advised against all, or all but essential, travel. It is your responsibility to check the latest advice from the FCDO prior to commencing your trip, which you can find at www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice

  3. Medical conditions that we cannot cover

    We are unable to provide any cover for any medical condition for which you, or anyone else to be covered by this policy, have not received a diagnosis, are on a waiting list for or have knowledge of the need for surgery, treatment or investigation at a hospital, clinic or nursing home.
